Many of the best songs are repeated later by other artists.
On very few occasions are the repeat anywhere near as good as the original. (IMHO)
I am sure there are exceptions.
Can you think of cover versions that are as good or better than the originals?

I do hope you will be including the version by Prelude, of After the goldrush. IMHO, far better than the Neil Young / Crosby, Stills etc version.

I think there may be several Linda Ronstadt songs, since she did almost all covers in the 70's! I mean, did the woman EVER record an original song of hers that got top 40 airplay??
